Ken Oberle was born and raised in Fairfax County and is the owner of Cooperative Paws Training and Behavior Consulting LLC, a business based in Northern Virginia. Ken is a professional dog trainer, and often assists his wife, Veronica Sanchez M.Ed., a Certified Pet Dog Trainer and Certified Animal Behavior Consultant, in the training and behavior consulting sessions.  Ken also handles the various accounting and management aspects of the business.

Ken has extensive hands-on experience training dogs. He is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. He competed in canine frisbee successfully with their rough collie, Phaser. Ken also trained Nacho, their siberian husky, to pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluation, and assisted in training Louie, their smooth collie, for public access level service work.

Ken's calm demeanor makes him particularly skilled at modifying nervous, aggressive or fearful dogs' behavior.  He is skilled at assessing dog body language in behavioral evaluations. He is also gifted at communicating complex training concepts to pet owners.

Ken is also the president of Professional Accounting Support Services, Inc., an accounting and bookkeeping company that has clients throughout the Washington DC area.
